As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering robust data products that drive innovation within Siemens DI’s Analytics Domain. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in shaping the architecture, processes, and strategies of our analytics ecosystem, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry. Design, develop, and optimize data products, data models, and pipelines that enable efficient data consumption across teams, enhancing business intelligence and analytics. Work with modern cloud-based data architectures, including data Lakehouse, to ensure security, scalability, reliability, and cost-effective data storage and processing. Connect diverse data sources and ensure reliable data flow. Leverage version control and CI/CD pipelines to streamline data development. Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business teams, to translate business needs into efficient data solutions. Partner with the Data Hub Team to ensure development adheres to standards and utilizes the latest technologies, ensuring data quality, compliance, and security are in place at launch and maintained over time. Stay up to date with emerging trends in data engineering and analytics. To Make a Difference, You Must Have Experience: 3+ years in an Analytics Engineering role within dynamic, outcome-driven organizations. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and designing ETL workflows. Experience in Snowflake and in-depth knowledge of modeling data with dbt. Build and optimize scalable data integration pipelines connecting various data stores. Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and designing ETL workflows. Experience with cloud-based data architectures (preferably AWS). Hands-on experience developing and maintaining robust data architectures to support analytics and business intelligence. Proficiency in using tools for version control and managing CI/CD workflows, such as GitHub or GitLab. Communication: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, with strong English proficiency. Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Nice to Have Design, develop, and maintain real-time data streaming solutions to process high-volume data flows (Kafka, Confluent, and Flink). Expertise in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies. Experience with AI and machine learning tools and techniques for data analysis and predictive modeling. Experience with customer service tools and integrating support data for analytics.
