About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will oversee complex federal and state income tax return preparation for a variety of clients, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Your leadership will be instrumental in mentoring junior staff, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and providing strategic tax planning guidance to clients. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a CPA license and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree in Taxation is preferred. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation, demonstrating a deep understanding of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. The candidate must have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and excellent client relationship management skills. A proven track record of leadership and mentorship within a professional setting is highly desirable. Responsibilities Manage and review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current regulations. Supervise, train, and mentor staff and senior accountants, fostering a collaborative team environment and supporting their professional development. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, providing tax planning guidance, and ensuring client satisfaction through proactive communication and service excellence. Conduct in-depth tax research to stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to client strategies and firm policies. Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to initiatives aimed at expanding the firm’s service offerings and client base. Ensure all work complies with professional standards, firm policies, and government regulations, maintaining the highest level of integrity and quality assurance.
