About The Role We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying comprehensive business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making within our organization. Your expertise in SQL, data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI tools will be essential to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of our data systems. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proficiency in Power BI, ColdFusion, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, and SSIS is essential. Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes is also necessary. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of accounting and finance principles is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to develop relevant BI solutions. Responsibilities As a Business Intelligence Developer, your primary responsibilities will include: Designing, developing, and deploying reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools to facilitate insightful analysis. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and document BI requirements, ensuring solutions meet organizational needs. Interpreting business needs and translating them into technical specifications for data extraction and analysis. Developing complex SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and load data efficiently. Utilizing SSIS for ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration and consistency. Maintaining data accuracy and integrity across all BI solutions, performing quality checks regularly. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for BI tools and systems, resolving issues promptly. Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for all BI processes and solutions. Conducting system tests, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with data privacy standards. Staying updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve data analysis and reporting capabilities.
