Blockchain Developer

About The Role: We are seeking a talented Blockchain Developer to work with us on an ad-hoc, project-based basis, delivering high-quality blockchain applications remotely. Key Responsibilities: Develop, review, and deploy smart contracts and decentralized application components on demand. Provide technical support or expertise for short-term blockchain initiatives (e.g., audits, integrations, prototypes). Collaborate asynchronously with internal teams (product, design, DevOps) to scope and deliver discrete work packages. Audit and improve existing smart contracts for security, gas efficiency, and correctness. Help integrate blockchain layers with existing systems via APIs or middleware. Offer recommendations on architecture, tooling, and best practices during engagements. Document work clearly so future contributors can pick up seamlessly. Requirements: Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer with a portfolio of past ad hoc or project-based work. Strong knowledge of one or more smart contract platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Solana, etc.). Proficiency in relevant languages such as Solidity, Rust, or equivalent depending on the chain. Familiarity with development/testing frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry). Understanding of token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, etc.), consensus mechanisms, and common security pitfalls. Comfortable working independently, managing own time, and delivering on scoped tasks with minimal supervision. Clear written communication for remote/asynchronous collaboration. Nice to Have: Experience with Layer 2 solutions (Optimism, Arbitrum) or cross-chain tooling. Prior involvement in DeFi, NFT, or DAO-related projects. Contributions to open-source blockchain projects. Familiarity with CI/CD for smart contracts and deployment pipelines.
