Business Analyst Division: Functional Services Reports to: Functional Services Manager Join Hummingbird Solutions We’re growing, and we’re looking for a Business Analyst who enjoys working closely with clients to understand their challenges and translate them into practical solutions. As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our clients adopt and use the Planview platform to support better decision-making and project delivery. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values curiosity, problem-solving, and the ability to turn complex requirements into clear, workable solutions. About the Role This role focuses on understanding client environments and translating business requirements into functional solutions within the PPM platform. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and contribute to solution design that aligns with business objectives. Working alongside Project Managers, technical teams, and clients, you’ll help ensure successful platform deployments and support organisations in improving their project and portfolio management practices. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and system functionality. Your work will involve engaging with stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and helping shape how solutions are configured and delivered. Your day-to-day will involve; • Gathering and analysing client business requirements • Facilitating workshops to understand business processes and needs • Translating requirements into functional specifications for the platform • Collaborating with technical teams on solution design and configuration • Supporting development of solution blueprints and documentation • Acting as a subject matter expert on the PPM platform • Identifying opportunities for process improvements • Contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with people, and helping organisations improve how they operate. You’ll be comfortable working across technical and business conversations and translating ideas into practical solutions. • Experience in Business Analysis, consulting, or solution delivery • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills • Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into system solutions • Experience facilitating workshops and working with cross-functional teams • Exposure to digital transformation or enterprise technology projects • Familiarity with PPM platforms or enterprise systems (highly advantageous) • Strong analytical thinking and documentation skills • A proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset Why Hummingbird?
