Job description

Role Overview: The Business Operations (BizOps) Manager is a high-impact, cross-functional role designed to act as the "connective tissue" of the organization. You will sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, turning data-driven insights into operational reality. You will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, designing strategic frameworks, and leading complex projects from conception to completion. Job Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Planning & Analysis (The "Strategist" & "BA") Partner with leadership to define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and North Star metrics. Conduct deep-dive data analysis to identify bottlenecks, market opportunities, and areas for cost optimization. Translate complex data sets into actionable executive summaries and strategic recommendations. 2. Operational Excellence (The "Ops" Leader) Design, implement, and scale internal processes to improve organizational velocity. Audit existing workflows and introduce automation or tooling to reduce manual overhead. Build "playbooks" for recurring business functions to ensure consistency and quality as the team grows. 3. Project & Program Management (The "PM") Lead high-priority "Special Projects" that don’t have a natural home in a specific department (e.g., launching a new market, implementing a new CRM, or restructuring a team). Manage project lifecycles: defining scope, setting timelines, managing stakeholders, and ensuring delivery. Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure product, sales, and finance are aligned. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Management Consulting, BizOps, Strategy, or a high-growth startup environment. Analytical Toolkit: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills are non-negotiable. Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, or similar BI tools is a strong plus. Problem Solving: A "first-principles" thinker who can break down ambiguous problems into structured components. Communication: Ability to influence senior stakeholders and explain technical concepts to non-technical team members. Project Management: Experience with Agile, Scrum, or standard PM tools (Asana, Jira, Monday.com).
