About the Role
Sri Krishna Educational Trust is seeking a high-calibre Chief of Staff to work directly under Dr. Gopal Saxena, Founder & Chairman.
This is a high-impact leadership role at the centre of institutional decision-making — ideal for a strategic operator who thrives across strategy, execution, governance, and cross-functional leadership.
The Chief of Staff will act as the operational nerve centre for the Chairman’s office, driving strategic initiatives, aligning leadership teams, improving organisational effectiveness, and translating vision into execution across the Trust’s institutions.
This is not a conventional coordination role. We are looking for someone with strong judgment, execution capability, executive maturity, and the ability to navigate complex, high-responsibility environments with discretion and ownership.

Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder & Leadership Coordination
Act as the primary liaison between Dr. Saxena and all internal departments, external partners, regulatory bodies, and institutional stakeholders
Represent Dr. Saxena in select internal and external forums when required, while maintaining discretion and institutional credibility at all times
Strategic Planning & Execution
Drive the planning, tracking, and execution of the Trust’s strategic initiatives across academic, administrative, and infrastructure functions
Oversee cross-functional projects from ideation through delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and accountability are maintained
Serve as a trusted sounding board for the Chairman by synthesising inputs from across the organisation and surfacing well-framed options for decision-making
Governance & Institutional Effectiveness
Lead or co-lead institutional reviews, accreditation preparation, policy implementation, and governance compliance efforts
Identify operational bottlenecks and lead process improvement initiatives that strengthen organisational effectiveness and scalability
Talent & Organisational Development
Support talent and culture initiatives in collaboration with HR, ensuring the Trust attracts, retains, and develops exceptional people
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
Postgraduate degree preferred (MBA, MPP, M.Ed., or equivalent)
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Communications, or related fields preferred)
5+ years in leadership, strategy, operations, consulting, founder’s office, or institutional management roles
Experience working with founders, CXOs, or Chairman-level executives preferred
Exposure to education, social sector, or public institutions is an advantage
