Your Role And Responsibilities
Understanding of enterprise microservices architectures and implementations
Excellent troubleshooting, follow-through, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Demonstrated analytical skills and data structures/algorithms fundamentals
Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills
Experience in installing and deploying solutions to Kubernetes (OpenShift preferred)
Can manage multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously
Knowledge of hybrid-cloud software implementations, SaaS / IaaS / PaaS and cloud applications
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Knowledge of virtualization technologies
Linux packages porting, Container technologies, Kubernetes, Dockers, Virtualization Management, REST API, Catalog Services, Micro Services
DevOps CICD Jenkins , Travis skills
Experience with python/java/c programming
Knowledge of Observability Solutions and tools
Cloud native development and deployment
Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices is important
Understanding of networking concepts and technologies is crucial.
Hands-on with technology and being able create demo assets and showcase to customers, conduct PoCs, run enablement sessions
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Cloud Development Exposure: Exposure to designing, coding, debugging, testing, and delivering creative solutions in various cloud-related areas, leveraging DevOps and agile methodologies.
Multi-Cloud Environment Experience: Experience working with multi-cloud environments, including public, private, or hybrid, and Cloud Infrastructure such as Kubernetes, containers, virtualization, or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
Design Thinking Application: Exposure to employing IBM's Design Thinking to create solutions that provide a great user experience along with world-class quality, resiliency, performance, security, and stability.
Quality Assurance Skills: Experience with testing and debugging solutions to ensure they meet the required quality, resiliency, performance, security, and stability standards.
DevOps Implementation: Exposure to implementing DevOps practices to deliver high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
Cloud Security Knowledge: Exposure to cloud security best practices and protocols, including data encryption and access controls, to ensure the development of secure cloud solutions.
Containerization Experience: Experience working with containerization technologies, such as Docker, to deliver efficient and scalable cloud solutions.
Agile Methodologies Familiarity: Exposure to agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to facilitate collaborative and iterative solution development.
Python Expert, Terraform, Ansible , Jenkins skills ,Selenium Exposure to source code management tools
Exposure to porting of packages Z Systems experience and exposure to Catalog Services, Micro Services
Prior experience / exposure to Storage, Networking and Security would be an added advantage. Prior experience to machine learning libraries would be an added advantage
