The role
We’re looking for a Community Manager to join our Isola campus in Milan. Your mission will be to create a dynamic, welcoming, and engaging environment, helping bring the Talent Garden experience to life every day.
This role combines community management, operations, and hospitality: you will be a daily point of reference for members, guests, and visitors, ensuring the campus is not only well-organized, but also vibrant, curated, and able to generate meaningful connections and opportunities.
Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for members, guests, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming, professional, and seamless experience in every daily interaction
Oversee the hospitality side of the campus, maintaining high standards across common areas, meeting rooms, reception, and member services
Ensure the campus consistently reflects the Talent Garden experience: dynamic, inclusive, well-organized, and community-driven
Curate the day-to-day experience within the campus, helping create an environment that feels welcoming, energetic, and detail-oriented
Build and nurture relationships with community members, facilitating connections, collaborations, and opportunities within the Talent Garden ecosystem
Plan and manage community initiatives, workshops, networking events, and informal gatherings, ensuring high-quality execution and participation
Collaborate with the City Lead on retention, occupancy, and sales-related activities, contributing to the overall growth and success of the campus
Monitor community sentiment and member satisfaction, proactively identifying opportunities to improve the campus experience
Manage community-related budgets, planning activities, calendars, and reporting with strong organizational attention and operational precision
Collaborate with the Calabiana campus team to align initiatives, share best practices, and create synergies across locations
Stay connected with the Milanese and Italian innovation ecosystem, identifying relevant trends, startups, founders, and opportunities to bring value to the community
About you
Ideally, you have around 2 years of experience in roles combining community, hospitality, events, operations, or customer experience within dynamic and people-driven environments.
On top of this, you:
Naturally build relationships and know how to make people feel welcomed, supported, and part of a community
Combine strong organizational skills with a hospitality mindset, paying attention to both operational details and human interactions
Are comfortable managing multiple priorities at once, coordinating events, logistics, suppliers, and member requests in fast-paced environments
Are familiar with project management tools such as Google Sheets and or other collaborative platforms
Enjoy being physically present in a space and taking ownership of the atmosphere and day-to-day experience of the campus
Are proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented, especially when priorities shift quickly
Are passionate about startups, innovation, and community building, and enjoy creating connections between people and opportunities
Are based in Milan or nearby and available to work on-site at our Isola campus (Piazza Città di Lombardia, 1)
Communicate fluently in both Italian and English, written and spoken
