Oretta Hospitality is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team!
This is a full-time, salary position and would require the individual to work within our 3 locations weekly to create content and post to our platforms. This position would also require the candidate to be present for all large or special events that would add to our Socials. It is a Full-time role and the individual would be responsible for posting regularly (daily or every second day) for our locations.
Position Summary
The Content Creator and Social Media Manager is expected to take full ownership of our social media presence, with complete focus and dedication to the role. A strong understanding of digital trends in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries, combined with creativity, agility, and strong execution skills, is essential to position our brand as one of the most relevant, engaging, and followed restaurant groups in the city.
This role involves leading all aspects of our social media strategy, including content creation, daily posting, community engagement, platform growth, and performance analysis. It also requires regular on-site visits to capture real-time content, collaborate with internal teams, and stay ahead of trends. Our social media should never go quiet, your mission is to keep the brand active, visible, and top of mind every single day. In this position you are building the brand.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Management
Develop and execute a comprehensive, platform-specific social media strategy that aligns with the brand’s identity and business goals.
Manage and grow our presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and any emerging relevant platforms. Content should be visible on all platforms.
Build monthly, weekly, and daily content calendars to ensure consistency, variety, and strategic messaging, while allowing room for real-time, organic content.
Define goals and KPIs for each platform (follower growth, reach, saves, shares, link clicks, etc.).
Content Creation & Curation
Capture original, high-quality content on-location multiple times per week: food, drinks, people, behind-the-scenes moments, events, décor, ambiance, and cultural moments.
Shoot and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks) that is trend-driven and engaging.
Work closely with chefs, bartenders, GMs, and FOH/BOH teams to highlight specials, team culture, and guest experiences.
Write creative, engaging, and on-brand captions with appropriate hashtags, tagging, and calls to action.
Maintain a consistent visual aesthetic and tone of voice across all platforms that reflect the brand’s identity.
Posting & Scheduling
Publish content daily across all channels - posts, stories, reels, carousels, video, polls, Q&As, and more.
Maintain an always-on approach, ensuring that all platforms are constantly updated with fresh, relevant content.
Schedule posts using tools like Hootsuite, while also being ready to post manually for trending and real-time moments.
Community Management
Actively monitor and respond to all DMs, comments, tags, mentions, reviews, and user-generated content.
Build relationships with our community and followers - creating a tone that is friendly, professional, and aligned with our brand voice.
Repost and celebrate user generated content, stories, and guest feedback to encourage a loyal and engaged following.
Reporting
Track and analyze performance metrics weekly and monthly (engagement, reach, impressions, follower growth, story views, video plays, etc.).
Use insights to inform content strategy, identify high-performing content types, and make data-driven recommendations.
Create clear, actionable monthly reports for leadership with insights and suggestions for continual growth.
Influencer & Partner Collaboration
Identify, engage, and manage relationships with local influencers, bloggers, foodies, creators, and hospitality partners.
Coordinate influencer visits, content collaborations, and giveaways.
Monitor and track the performance of influencer content and partnerships.
Trend Awareness & Innovation
Stay on top of current social media trends, platform updates, audio trends, and content formats.
Be proactive in testing new strategies and content styles to improve engagement and visibility.
Bring fresh, bold, and creative ideas to the table regularly.
Campaign Support & Brand Alignment
Support seasonal campaigns, menu launches, holidays, events, and special promotions with targeted social media support.
Ensure all messaging is consistent with the restaurant group’s brand identity, values, and culture.
Collaborate with internal and external teams (e.g. design, events, operations) to align social efforts with broader marketing goals.
Culture
Highlight the culture of Oretta through social media, brand messaging and always put a sense of this culture into the social media output.
The expectation is:
Daily content for our brand, pushing for relevance and make the brand one of the most hyped and talked about in the city.
Be present for all major events and launches.
Daily content is published on Instagram/Facebook/TikTok.
Weekly content is published on LinkedIn.
Social media becomes a real-time reflection of the in-restaurant experience.
Followers are growing steadily and organically across all platforms.
Engagement metrics are rising, more likes, saves, shares, and comments month over month.
Our social presence feels alive, authentic, and ahead of the curve, consistently outperforming competitors.
Guests mention “seeing it on Instagram/TikTok” more often as a reason for visiting.
The restaurant group is recognized for having the strongest digital presence in the local restaurant scene.
Please note that the Salary listed is based on the individuals experience and we will discuss salary during the interview process.
With a Salaried position, Group Benefits are offered after a 90-day probationary period, as well as employee discounts for the individual plus 3 friends/family members.
