Quick Take
The Data Analyst is responsible for acquiring and processing the data needed for our AP audits. This includes attending and/or leading meetings to discuss the data requirements and following up with the client until we have what is required. Managing the data process from the first meeting until the data is processed and ready for audit and answering any questions the audit team may have as the audit progresses. This role can be done remotely from the U.S. (EST). First week onsite training will be required, so you must be comfortable traveling to our Greensboro location.
The Work
Making sure that we collect all data elements needed for a successful audit.
Mapping/joining data tables together to create our standard audit tables.
Conduct the discovery, removal, and correction of errors in data records though data cleansing activities.
Using tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex datasets that could be helpful for the diagnosis.
Accountable for the assessment, delivery, quality, accuracy, and tracking of any production data fixes.
Responsible for defining business rules and data standards and best practices for data analysis and enrichment.
Responsible for understanding end-to-end data flows and identifying data dependencies in support of delivery, release, and change management.
Partners with the IT security team to ensure solutions adhere to the organization’s data principles and guidelines.
Responsible for solving data related issues and communicating resolutions with R&D and other associates.
The Must-Haves
3+ years of data quality, data analysis, and data management experience
3+ years in AP Audit industry and working with financial data is preferred.
Experience in managing large data sets and mapping them accordingly.
Experience in SQL client tool like SSMS, Dbeaver, etc.
Strong SQL skills
High level understanding of SAP AP tables and how they work together.
Experience in building automated ETL/ELT pipelines
Understanding SQL databases and table relationships.
Experience working in Excel and data viewing software such as Notepad and Ultra Edit.
Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data.
Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity, and precision both written and verbal.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Technical expertise in data, its standardization and transformation.
Must understand data flows, data profiling, and statistical analysis.
