As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to help build secure, scalable, and automated systems while integrating security into every stage of the development lifecycle. 🎯 Key Responsibilities Assist in integrating security practices into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows. Support cloud infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and security configurations. Help perform vulnerability scanning, patch management, and security checks. Monitor systems and applications for security threats and operational issues. Assist in automating deployment and security processes using scripts and tools. Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to improve system reliability and security. Document infrastructure, security procedures, and operational processes. Stay updated with modern DevSecOps, cloud security, and automation best practices. ✅ Requirements Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field. Basic understanding of DevOps, cloud computing, and cybersecurity concepts. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus. Basic knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and system administration. Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) is an advantage. Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a plus. Understanding of security concepts such as authentication, encryption, and vulnerabilities. Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn new technologies.
