About The Role
We're looking for an experienced eCommerce Business Analyst / Solutions Consultant to join our Australian team for an 8-week fixed term contract. This is a fast-paced, high-impact engagement — we need someone who can hit the ground running from day one.
You'll work with client stakeholders, internal technical teams, and third parties to analyse, design, and document technical solutions that meet business objectives. The role covers the full project lifecycle from requirements elicitation through to user acceptance testing and go-live.
Requirements
Experience within eCommerce (B2B and B2C implementations)
Salesforce certification desirable (Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce Cloud)
Experience leading discovery workshops to gather business requirements and develop technical specifications
Ability to translate discovery outputs into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and present to senior stakeholders
Understanding of the full eCommerce product lifecycle including back-end systems (OMS, PIM, ERP)
Working knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Magento, SAP Commerce Cloud, or Commerce Tools
Understanding of Headless Commerce and App Commerce
Proven track record in software development environments across end-to-end project lifecycles
Experience testing solutions to ensure they meet client requirements and expectations
Ability to act as a subject matter expert and raise awareness of innovation and process improvements
Proficient in coordinating with offshore teams and vendors across time zones
Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Project
Strong requirement documenting skills — user cases, user stories, wireframing, user flows, and functional specifications
Ability to translate between development, creative, and business stakeholders
Essential Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Experience creating detailed reports and presenting findings
Previous experience providing estimates for production work
Excellent attention to detail with strong oral and written communication skills
Interpersonal and consultative skills
Team player with a fantastic can-do attitude
Previous experience facilitating discovery workshops
Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
