About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer and User Interface Designer to join our dynamic team at My3Tech Inc. This role involves working on mission-critical projects for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) and the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles (NCDMV). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building modern web applications, creating engaging user interfaces, and working within SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Power Platform environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects that serve the public and improve transportation services across North Carolina. Candidates must be local to the Triangle region of North Carolina, with occasional in-office meetings required up to 1-2 days per month. Qualifications Proven experience in front-end web development, particularly with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of NPM and package management. Experience building user interfaces and interactive solutions in SharePoint, including SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online environments. Knowledge of SharePoint lists, libraries, site columns, and content types. Proficiency in Visual Studio Code or similar code editors. Experience designing user experiences, including prototyping, mockups, and CSS styling. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps. Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate testing, and support user and system issues. Experience with SharePoint Online in the Government Cloud (GCC or GCC-High) is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications and user interfaces that meet project requirements and usability standards. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure user-centric design. Create prototypes, mockups, and visual designs to communicate ideas and gather feedback. Implement and customize SharePoint pages, lists, libraries, and content types to support project needs. Leverage Vue.js and other JavaScript frameworks to build interactive and engaging web components. Utilize SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools to automate workflows and develop custom applications. Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure optimal performance and user experience. Work closely with the Web Systems team to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Stay updated with the latest web development trends and SharePoint features to continuously improve solutions.
