Job description

Head of Growth & Revenue (Independent Contractor) SweatCircle, Inc. | 1099 Contractor | Equity + Commission | Remote Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (1099) — Not an Employee. Reports to: CEO for deliverables and milestones Read This First We don’t want to waste your time. We don’t want you wasting ours. If you give up easily — don’t apply. If you need a salary or hourly pay — don’t apply. If you need to be told what to do — don’t apply. If you’ve never sold anything in your life — don’t apply. We are looking for one person. A master connector. A sales killer. A general manager who can run the show, run the meetings, and grow the business from zero to one billion dollars. Someone who manifests outcomes and then makes them real. If you read that and felt something — keep reading. The Market We’re Going After This isn’t a startup playing in a small pond. The numbers are public. • The global wellness economy hit $6.8 trillion in 2024 and is projected to reach $9.8 trillion by 2029, growing 7.6% annually — faster than global GDP. (Global Wellness Institute, 2025) • The United States alone accounts for $2.1 trillion of the global wellness economy — nearly 32% of the entire global market. • The fitness app market is one of the fastest-growing segments inside that, with projections ranging from $45–125 billion by 2030 depending on the analyst, growing at CAGRs of 13% to 24%. • The corporate wellness market sat at $53.5 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to $117 billion+ by 2030 under aggressive forecasts. • Workplace wellness was the ONLY segment that declined in 2024 (-1.5%). Every other segment is exploding. Companies are spending — they’re just spending it on the wrong things. That’s the gap. Companies want wellness that works. Coaches want clients. Clients want real, local, human movement — not another app. The market is enormous. The category leader hasn’t been built. That’s where we come in. Who We Are SweatCircle is a hyper-local fitness coach-client marketplace and community platform built on a proprietary AI layer called Sudore. We are not another fitness app. We’re not Peloton. We’re not ClassPass. We’re not MindBody. We are a new category. We connect real coaches to real clients in real zip codes, with a community layer (Circles and Clubs), a venue partnership engine (Powered Groups), and an AI assistant (Sudore) that handles matching, nudges, and friction at every step. We monetize through an 18% non-refundable session fee, a $19/month Coach Plus subscription, and a corporate wellness B2B product starting at $299/month and tiering upward. We are headquartered in Wisconsin. Incorporated in Delaware. Pre-revenue. Post-product. Mid-raise. Recently featured in Fitt Insider — the leading publication for the business of fitness and wellness, read by founders, executives, and investors shaping the industry. Our SUDORE AI 3.0 launch was covered as part of the broader shift from community-based motivation to intelligent performance systems. We are building THE TEAM — not a team. Every hire is a co-conspirator in the vision. What We Do Differently Everyone else built an app and called it a community. We built a community and gave it the tools. • Hyper-local first. We don’t try to be everywhere. We dominate one zip code at a time, starting in the Midwest, then expanding outward in waves. • Coach-owned economics. 80/20 splits favor the organizer. Tips, not subscriptions, fuel the movement. Coaches stay because the math works. • Sudore AI. A proprietary contextual assistant and nudge engine running across the platform. Matching, retention, friction removal — automated. This is not a chatbot. This is the operating system. • Powered Groups. Co-branded real-world activity groups with partner venues. We bring the technology and the audience. The venue brings the space and the brand. Both win. • Corporate wellness that actually moves people. Not a portal full of PDFs. Real coaches. Real groups. Real human connection. Tiered B2B pricing starting at $299/month. • The Lab. Editorial, interactive tools, and programmatic SEO driving organic acquisition at scale. This is not an app. This is infrastructure for a new wellness category. The Role You are an independent contractor engaged to deliver revenue outcomes for SweatCircle, Inc. You operate with full autonomy over how, when, and where you execute the work. You control your own schedule, methods, tools, and approach. SweatCircle defines the deliverables and the outcomes — you decide how to get there. Deliverable areas you’ll own: 1. Marketplace acquisition — coaches and clients onto the platform. Two-sided liquidity in launch markets. 2. Partnership pipeline — gyms, studios, wellness venues across Wisconsin first, then the Midwest, then the country. Powered Groups deals signed, activated, and producing revenue. 3. Corporate wellness sales — B2B accounts with HR, benefits, and people ops teams. Pilots into expansions. $299/month into $25,000/year. Additional contracted scope: • Building and documenting the acquisition playbook (your IP and methodology, used in service of SweatCircle deliverables) • Maintaining pipeline visibility and reporting outcomes against agreed milestones • Providing field intelligence to inform product decisions • Recommending future contractor engagements for the growth function as the business scales You are free to work with other clients, set your own hours, and use your own tools and methods, provided you meet the agreed deliverables and do not engage with direct competitors as defined in the contractor agreement. What We Expect In the first 30 days: • Full mapping of the addressable market — coaches, venues, and corporate targets across Wisconsin • A documented outbound playbook with messaging, channels, and sequencing • 50+ outreach conversations live in your pipeline • First Powered Groups conversation moved to proposal In the first 90 days: • 25+ active coaches onboarded and transacting on the platform • 10+ venue partnerships signed (Powered Groups or referral) • 3+ corporate wellness pilots in active conversation, 1 closed • A repeatable acquisition motion that someone else could run from your documentation In the first 12 months: • Sustainable two-sided marketplace liquidity in launch markets • A named, accurate, growing B2B pipeline with documented close rates • A growth team you’ve helped recruit • Revenue numbers we can show investors with pride In 36 months: • We’re not asking you to project to a billion. We’re asking you to operate like the person who will. What We Don’t Expect • A perfect first month • A polished deck • A title-first attitude • A wait-for-permission posture • A reason it can’t be done Compensation Structure This is a performance-based independent contractor engagement. We will be direct about what that means. • No salary, no hourly wage, no W-2. SweatCircle is pre-revenue. We’re not pretending otherwise. • Commission on platform GMV generated by your efforts (18% session fee model), Coach Plus subscriptions ($19/month each) you originate, and closed corporate wellness deals ($299/month and up) you bring in. Uncapped. • Equity grant for the right operator. 4-year vest with 1-year cliff. Real ownership. Documented through a separate equity agreement. • Performance-based cash compensation may be introduced post-SAFE close as a revised contractor fee schedule, scaled to performance and runway. • You are responsible for your own taxes, including self-employment tax. You will receive a 1099-NEC at year end if compensation exceeds the IRS reporting threshold. • You provide your own equipment, workspace, software tools, and business expenses. SweatCircle does not reimburse standard business costs of operating as an independent contractor. • You may work with other clients outside of direct competitors (as defined in the contractor agreement). If you came here looking for an hourly rate, a guaranteed paycheck, employee benefits, or a W-2 position — we’re not the right fit. We respect that. Go build with someone else. If you came here because you want a piece of the outcome and you operate like a business owner — let’s talk. Who You Are • You’ve built revenue from zero before — marketplace, B2B2C, community-driven product, or category-creating company • You sell. In person. On the phone. In DMs. At dinner. You don’t wait for inbound. • You’ve sold into HR, benefits, or people ops, or you’ve built a two-sided supply pipeline from scratch • You operate. You don’t strategize and delegate. You make the calls, send the emails, run the meetings, and close the deals yourself before hiring under you. • You’re a master connector. You know who to call. You build relationships that compound. • You believe in your own close rate enough to bet your comp on it • You have a bias for action and a tolerance for ambiguity • You’re not afraid to manifest something into existence and then make it real Who You Are Not • Looking for a title on LinkedIn • A brand marketer who wants to run campaigns • Waiting for a deck before you start outreach • Allergic to cold calls, video meetings, or working a phone all day • Someone who needs a process before you can produce • Someone who’s “interested in fitness tech” — we’re not building fitness tech, we’re building a category What You Should Know • The CEO (Tajal Diop) and his brother (Alan Diop, an independent contractor providing product intelligence services) are the current core team. You would be the third senior independent operator on the commercial side. • A SAFE raise is actively in motion with a Strategic Advisor on investor relations. • This is a fully remote engagement. You work from wherever you operate best — your home office, a co-working space, on the road. You set your hours. You set your environment. • SweatCircle is headquartered in Wisconsin and incorporated in Delaware. Periodic video sync-ups, no required physical presence. • We move fast. We over-communicate asynchronously. We don’t do politics. Independent Contractor Relationship This engagement is structured as an independent contractor relationship under IRS guidelines and Wisconsin law, and will be governed by a written Independent Contractor Agreement executed before any work begins. • You are not an employee of SweatCircle, Inc. This engagement does not create an employer-employee relationship. • You control how, when, and where the work is performed, subject only to the deliverables and outcomes agreed in writing. • You are not entitled to employee benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, retirement contributions, unemployment insurance, or workers’ compensation. • You are responsible for your own federal and state income taxes, self-employment tax, business licenses, insurance, and any other obligations of operating as an independent business. • You may engage other clients during the term of this agreement, subject to the non-competition and confidentiality terms in the contractor agreement. • Either party may terminate the engagement in accordance with the terms of the written contractor agreement. • The engagement is project- and milestone-based, not an indefinite employment relationship. SweatCircle reserves the right to convert this engagement to a W-2 employee role at a later date by mutual written agreement, post-funding, with terms to be negotiated separately at that time. How to Apply DM Tajal Diop directly on LinkedIn or apply through linkedin. Skip the cover letter. Skip the formatted resume. Send: 1. One thing you’ve sold or built from zero — what was it, how big did it get, what did you learn 2. One sentence on why SweatCircle and not another startup 3. Your read on the wellness market in 2026 — where’s the gap, where’s the money, where would you start We’ll get back to you within 7 days. If you’re a fit, we move fast. If you’re not, we’ll tell you straight. This is the role for someone building something that changes the world. We’re going to prove it. Come build it with us. — Tajal Diop, Founder & CEO, SweatCircle, Inc. sweatcircle.io
