Role Description This is a full-time Junior Blockchain Developer position based on-site at our Lagos State, Nigeria office. The Junior Blockchain Developer will assist with designing, developing, and testing blockchain-based applications. Responsibilities include creating and deploying smart contracts, integrating blockchain applications with existing systems, troubleshooting code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable products. The selected candidate will stay updated with emerging blockchain technologies to ensure the implementation of innovative solutions in line with company objectives. Qualifications Proficiency in Blockchain development and smart contract programming (e.g., Solidity or Rust) Experience with distributed ledger technologies and knowledge of DeFi concepts Strong foundational knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Go Familiarity with blockchain project deployment processes and secure coding practices Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team Passion for blockchain technology and its applications in financial systems Experience with Ethereum, Hyperledger, or other blockchain platforms is a plus
