Job description

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team. In this role, you will support our retail business and energy trading teams and be involved in a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters, helping turn ideas into reality while contributing to both day-to-day operations and longer-term initiatives. You will contribute to innovative and meaningful projects that help shape the future of energy services. Working closely with the business, you will see the direct impact of your work while helping improve processes and build new solutions in a fast-moving and highly regulated industry. What you will work on Advising the Retail business and Energy Trading team on day-to-day legal and regulatory matters and helping find practical, business-oriented solutions. Participating in the development of new products and services and assessing related legal risks. Advising on regulatory topics related to the energy market, including consumer protection, data protection and market conduct requirements. Monitoring, interpreting and implementing legislative and regulatory changes. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of agreements and other legal documents. Supporting the handling of customer disputes, complaints and communication with authorities. Preparing organisational decisions, minutes and other corporate documentation. Helping improve legal processes, templates and ways of working to make legal support more efficient. Building strong relationships with business teams and collaborating closely with colleagues across the organisation to support fast-moving commercial initiatives. What describes you Master’s degree in Law, qualified under Estonian law. 3–6 years of relevant legal experience, ideally gained in a law firm or within the legal function of a company. Previous experience in a regulated industry (for example energy, finance, telecom or similar) is strongly preferred. Fluency in Estonian and English, both written and spoken. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, combined with a practical, solution-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently and manage a variety of legal matters in a dynamic business environment. Commercial awareness and the ability to assess legal risk in context and communicate it clearly to non-legal stakeholders. Curiosity and willingness to quickly learn new areas of law and business. You have a genuine interest in renewable energy and are eager to use innovation and AI in your work.
