Data Engineer with MS Fabric/ MS Power BI Developer (Python & PySpark)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled MS Fabric/ Power BI Developer with strong Python and PySpark experience to build scalable data solutions and deliver impactful business insights. This role requires expertise in data visualization, big data processing, and advanced analytics, with hands-on experience working in notebook environments (Databricks, Jupyter, or Fabric).
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
Hands-on experience in data migration and transition to Microsoft Fabric environments
Build and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query
Develop and maintain data pipelines using PySpark for large-scale data processing
Work extensively in notebook environments (Databricks, Jupyter, Microsoft Fabric) for data transformation and analysis
Use Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) for data wrangling, automation, and advanced analytics
Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL, APIs, and cloud platforms
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions
Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization
Implement security features such as row-level security (RLS) in Power BI
Automate workflows and reporting processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI
Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling
Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and scripting
Hands-on experience with PySpark and distributed data processing
Experience working in notebook environments (Databricks, Jupyter, or Fabric notebooks)
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
Understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts
Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Microsoft Fabric
Familiarity with Delta Lake, Spark optimization, and big data architectures
Knowledge of machine learning workflows using Python/PySpark
