About the Team
Fanatics Collectibles is a new company operating at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology. Backed by world-class investors, operators, and sports & entertainment partners, we are building the global leader in next-generation collectibles. As part of the broader Fanatics ecosystem, we leverage a digital sports platform that spans over 900 sports properties and engages more than 81 million fans. Together, we are reimagining every part of the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators.
Role Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our China e-commerce experience, starting with Topps.com and expanding into a broader localized commerce ecosystem.
This is a high-impact, market-building role where you will define how we enter and scale in one of the world’s most complex and dynamic digital markets. You’ll own the product vision for China, translating global capabilities into locally relevant, high-performing experiences.
You will partner closely with a local Senior Staff Engineer to deliver against this vision, combining deep product thinking with strong execution in a vendor-supported development environment.
Responsibilities
Define Product Strategy
Own the China e-commerce product vision and roadmap
Identify the right market entry and growth strategy across channels (e.g., WeChat Mini-Programs, social commerce)
Drive product decisions that balance global consistency with local market needs
Build for the China Market
Translate global experiences into China-native user journeys
Shape product features that align with:
Local payment systems (WeChat Pay, Alipay)
Logistics and fulfillment expectations
Social and community-driven commerce behaviors
Ensure strong product-market fit in a fast-evolving environment
Drive Execution
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch and iteration
Own backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and delivery milestones
Partner with engineering and vendors to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
Collaborate Cross-Functionally
Partner closely with a Senior Staff Engineer to align product vision with technical execution
Work across global Product, Engineering, Legal, and Business teams to drive alignment
Serve as the primary product point of contact between China and US-based stakeholders
Operate in a Complex Ecosystem
Navigate platform constraints within the WeChat ecosystem
Ensure product decisions align with local regulations and compliance requirements
Balance speed, quality, and scalability in a vendor-supported model
Leverage Data & Insights
Define success metrics and build a data-informed product strategy
Use analytics and user insights to optimize conversion, engagement, and retention
Foster a test-and-learn approach to drive continuous improvement
Ideal Candidate
8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of end-to-end product strategy and delivery
Experience building or scaling consumer-facing digital products or e-commerce platforms
Strong understanding of China’s digital ecosystem, including:
Social commerce and mobile-first user behavior
Local payments and platform integrations
Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Experience working across global teams (China + US or similar)
Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Nice to Have
Experience launching products in China or other international markets
Familiarity with vendor or partner-led development models
Background in marketplaces, collectibles, or fan-focused platforms
Technical fluency and ability to partner deeply with engineering teams
