Position Overview: This role within the Product Marketing team is responsible for establishing the Uniqlo brand in the US through communication of our brand values and iconic products. In this role, the individual will lead UT (UT: Graphic Tees) and UTme! (Custom print service and exclusive designs) programs from end-to-end. They will also be accountable for sourcing, creating and developing the exclusive design for the US region marketing plan and localized execution. This individual will collaborate with Global Marketing based in Japan on marketing planning, creative development and local adaptation for UT product categories. The Product Marketing Manager will report to the Head of Marketing. They will interface with various teams including US and Global Marketing, Merchandising, Creative, Visual Merchandisers, PR, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Inventory Planning, Finance, Store Operations and Store Managers. Job Responsibilities: Develop and execute UT and UTme! product marketing strategies and plans on an annual/seasonal basis Collaborate with Global Marketing to provide input on creative briefs for seasonal product campaign development Provide direction and guidance on product shoot list and in-store asset creation Lead product/project planning and execution in collaboration with other departments Establish understanding of Uniqlo Lifewear with breakthrough communication that elevates the brand and supports the key brand attributes through product marketing communication Ensure optimized product marketing communication for the US consumer for all product marketing materials Manage agency relationships and conduct briefings for marketing plan development and execution Plan and execute in-store and in-market product marketing events Conduct business analyses and post marketing campaign reviews Support the training and development of junior and new marketing team members Other related duties to be assigned by direct supervisor Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree required Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the marketing/communications field Experience in working for product marketing/communications (preferred) Experience with retail and consumer marketing (preferred) Passion for Art, manga, music, games, movies (preferred) Great deep thinker to find opportunities by thinking brand and product values and customer’s insight Skilled at managing projects - resources, assets, budget, information and timeline Excellent verbal and written communication skills, technical skills & business acumen Ability to communicate and interface well across all levels of the organization Detail oriented, self-starter with a high level of accuracy Ability to handle multiple projects and work efficiently and effectively Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality Salary: $115,000 - $122,000 annually Bonus eligible* *The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
