Project Manager – Learning & Development (Consultant)

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a major L&D programme on a consultant basis. This role requires a hands‑on, delivery‑focused professional with a proven track record managing large, complex learning projects across multiple workstreams. The Project Manager will be responsible for project scoping, planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, and stakeholder communication. They will work closely with subject‑matter experts, instructional designers, facilitators, and senior leaders to ensure all learning outputs are delivered on time, to scope, and to a high standard. The ideal consultant will bring significant experience in the Learning & Development field, including exposure to curriculum design, digital learning development, blended learning solutions, and implementation across diverse teams. They must be confident operating independently, driving momentum, and bringing structure and clarity to fast‑moving environments. This role suits a consultant who is proactive, organised, and able to manage a large‑scale project from inception to completion while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high‑quality delivery.
