Job description:
Job title: Senior AI Engineer (Data & AI)
Location: Katowice HUB (hybrid)
Type: full time (permanent)
Your role:
As a Senior AI Engineer at LIPTON Teas and Infusions, you will play a leading role in shaping our AI agent landscape across the Data & AI team. You will design and deliver robust, production-ready agent solutions on Microsoft Azure and Databricks, while also functioning partly as a technical lead for the AI chapter. In that role, you will help ensure that projects are executed in line with engineering standards and best practices, and that foundational components such as reusable CLI tools, agent skills, and shared implementation patterns are continuously strengthened. In addition to hands-on delivery, you will work closely with stakeholders and fellow engineers to drive technical direction, improve standards, and accelerate adoption of AI solutions across the business.
Your key responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of production-grade AI agents and agentic workflows.
Act partly as a technical lead for the AI chapter, helping ensure solutions are delivered in line with standards and best practices.
Define and improve architecture patterns for AI applications, retrieval solutions, and enterprise integrations.
Design and oversee RAG-style implementations using Azure AI Search, Databricks, and related platform capabilities.
Guide the development of supporting APIs, internal tools, and user interfaces for AI solutions.
Drive the development of foundational components used across projects, such as reusable CLI tools, agent skills, shared libraries, and engineering patterns.
Establish and improve engineering practices across testing, deployment, observability, version control, and CI/CD.
Work with product owners, senior stakeholders, and technical teams in Scrum and in a multi-disciplinary setting to clarify use cases and prioritize delivery.
Coach and support junior and medior engineers in agent engineering approaches and software engineering practices.
Continuously strengthen the Data & AI engineering foundation through experimentation, standardization, and knowledge sharing.
What we are looking for:
5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning engineering, or a similar role.
At minimum a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field.
Advanced expertise in Python.
Strong experience with Azure and Databricks in production environments.
Advanced knowledge of PySpark, SQL, Git, and GitHub Actions.
Strong hands-on experience with agent frameworks, LLM systems, and multi-step AI workflows.
Strong understanding of RAG concepts, retrieval architectures, and enterprise AI integration patterns.
Experience designing APIs and applications, preferably with FastAPI, React, and TypeScript.
Comfortable using and guiding others on agentic engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Codex, or Cursor.
Experience defining standards, reviewing implementations across multiple projects, and building reusable foundations that can be adopted across the AI chapter.
Bonus: experience with Copilot Studio, MCP development, MLflow, tracing/observability, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code.
Proven ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders, mentor others, and work effectively in Scrum with multi-disciplinary teams.
What’s in it for you:
As part of the Data & AI team, you'll join a modern, collaborative environment designed to help you thrive-professionally and personally. Our benefits package includes:
Yearly salary review and annual bonus based on company’s results and individual performance
Private medical care and employer‑paid life insurance
Monthly MyBenefit cafeteria points and holiday reimbursement
Access to discounted company products
Employee referral rewards up to 3,000 PLN
