Job description: Job title: Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Data & AI) Location: Katowice HUB (hybrid) Type: full time (permanent) Your role: As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at LIPTON Teas and Infusions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our machine learning capabilities across the Data & AI team. You will lead the engineering of robust ML pipelines and services across domains such as computer vision, forecasting, classification, and LLM-enabled workflows, while also functioning partly as a technical lead for the ML chapter. In that role, you will help ensure that projects are executed in line with standards and best practices, and that foundational components such as reusable CLI tools, shared ML building blocks, and common engineering patterns are continuously improved. In addition to hands-on delivery, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders and colleagues to drive technical direction, improve standards, and support the growth of the team. Your key responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end ML pipelines for training, inference, evaluation, and deployment. Act partly as a technical lead for the ML chapter, helping ensure solutions are delivered in line with standards and best practices. Drive use cases across computer vision, forecasting, classification, and LLM-enabled workflows. Work with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams in Scrum and in a multi-disciplinary setting to clarify requirements and shape solution direction. Design and improve engineering standards across reproducibility, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintainability. Use Databricks and AzureML to manage scalable ML workloads, environments, and deployment patterns. Guide the development of supporting APIs, orchestration layers, and internal tools for ML-enabled solutions. Drive the development of foundational components used across projects, such as reusable CLI tools, shared ML utilities, common pipeline patterns, and standard project building blocks. Mentor junior and medior engineers and help strengthen team capability through knowledge sharing. Continuously improve the Data & AI engineering foundation through experimentation, standardization, and delivery excellence. What we are looking for: 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, software engineering, or a similar role. At minimum a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, mathematics, or a related field. Advanced expertise in Python. Strong experience with Azure and Databricks in production environments. Advanced knowledge of PySpark, SQL, Git, and GitHub Actions. Strong experience operationalizing ML workflows and translating experimentation into reliable production systems. Experience across one or more domains such as computer vision, forecasting, classification, anomaly detection, or LLM-enabled pipelines. Experience defining standards, reviewing implementations across multiple projects, and building reusable foundations that can be adopted across the ML chapter. Bonus: experience with AzureML, MLflow, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, streaming pipelines, or MLOps. Comfortable using and guiding others on agentic engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Codex, or Cursor. Proven ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders, mentor others, and work effectively in Scrum with multi-disciplinary teams. What’s in it for you: As part of the Data & AI team, you'll join a modern, collaborative environment designed to help you thrive-professionally and personally. Our benefits package includes: Yearly salary review and annual bonus based on company’s results and individual performance Private medical care and employer‑paid life insurance Monthly MyBenefit cafeteria points and holiday reimbursement Access to discounted company products Employee referral rewards up to 3,000 PLN Structured onboarding and continuous learning opportunities Cross‑functional collaboration with global teams Regular HUB events, recognition programs, and a strong culture of teamwork What to expect from us: We know that the whole recruitment process can be stressful, so we promise to make it as straightforward as possible.
