Who We Are
Verve has created a more efficient and privacy-focused way to buy and monetize advertising. Verve is an ecosystem of demand and supply technologies fusing data, media, and technology together to deliver results and growth to both advertisers and publishers–no matter the screen or location, no matter who, what, or where a customer is. With 30 offices across the globe and with an eye on servicing forward-thinking advertising customers, Verve’s solutions are trusted by more than 90 of the United States’ top 100 advertisers, 4,000 publishers globally, and the world’s top demand-side platforms. Verve For Advertisers is a technology company that empowers brands and agencies to connect moments of discovery and drive measurable outcomes across screens.
As part of Verve, we've unified the company's demand-side offering, bringing together the largest on-site search intent dataset outside of walled gardens, direct SDK integrations with top apps, alongside data partnerships with 3M+ websites and LLMs. Our technology captures both what consumers do and why they do it, delivering high-fidelity audiences, insights, and activation across premium omnichannel inventory.
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our DevOps team and take meaningful ownership of our growing infrastructure. This position is full-time with the option of working on-site from our NYC headquarters. Jun Group will only consider candidates for this position who are currently legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities Include
Own and optimize Kubernetes clusters (GKE) at scale, including networking, autoscaling, and cost efficiency
Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), establishing reusable patterns and enforcing standards across teams
Architect, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) with a focus on reliability, security, and developer experience
Design and maintain Helm charts for applications and services across multiple environments
Drive platform reliability — owning scalability, availability, and disaster recovery strategy (load balancing, auto-scaling, multi-region resilience)
Define and implement observability standards across metrics, logging, and tracing (Grafana, New Relic, OpenTelemetry)
Serve as a technical lead during incidents on primary revenue-generating applications, owning resolution and contributing to post-mortems
Mentor engineers across the team and act as a trusted advisor to development teams on infrastructure best practices, security standards, and platform adoption
Contribute to the team’s on-call rotation with a proactive, systems-thinking approach

Solid understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security across GCP
Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous problems
Experience mentoring engineers and influencing platform culture
