We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our DevOps team and take meaningful ownership of our growing infrastructure. This position is full-time with the option of working on-site from our NYC headquarters. Responsibilities Include Own and optimize Kubernetes clusters (GKE) at scale, including networking, autoscaling, and cost efficiency Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), establishing reusable patterns and enforcing standards across teams Architect, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) with a focus on reliability, security, and developer experience Design and maintain Helm charts for applications and services across multiple environments Drive platform reliability — owning scalability, availability, and disaster recovery strategy (load balancing, auto-scaling, multi-region resilience) Define and implement observability standards across metrics, logging, and tracing (Grafana, New Relic, OpenTelemetry) Serve as a technical lead during incidents on primary revenue-generating applications, owning resolution and contributing to post-mortems Mentor engineers across the team and act as a trusted advisor to development teams on infrastructure best practices, security standards, and platform adoption Contribute to the team’s on-call rotation with a proactive, systems-thinking approach Technologies we use Programming Languages Ruby/Rails Elixir PythonJavaScript (jQuery, AngularJS, Vue.js) Cloud Platforms GCP - GKE, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Cloud Build AWS - EKS, ECS, RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, CodePipeline) Preferred Skills And Experience 7+ years of relevant platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering experience Deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes in production environments (GKE) Strong Terraform skills — module authoring and IaC architecture, not just usage Experience with GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipeline design at scale Solid understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security across GCP Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous problems Experience mentoring engineers and influencing platform culture Some Company Benefits Include Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus mental health resources 401(k) match and generous PTO Hybrid work environment (NYC office) Free lunch for onsite team members in NYC Volunteer Opportunities Opportunities for professional development in a high-growth ad tech company Greater NY-area Residents: We currently have a hybrid remote work policy.
