As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer I, you aren’t just managing servers; you are the architect of the digital infrastructure that empowers healthcare providers. You will think big to design, build, and maintain a resilient AWS ecosystem that ensures our life-saving tools are always available. In this role, you will innovate boldly by driving automation and Kubernetes orchestration, ensuring we save time for our developers and, ultimately, the doctors who rely on us. As a senior member of the team, you’ll lead by example—mentoring others, fostering a "do good" culture, and having a little fun along the way. How You’ll Make an Impact Innovate Boldly with Infrastructure: Take full ownership of our AWS cloud environment. You’ll design for high availability and security, ensuring our platform is as reliable as the doctors who use it. Create Customer Delight through Observability: Use DataDog to peek behind the curtain. You’ll build proactive monitoring and alerting that catches issues before they ever impact a patient or provider. Save Time via Automation: Lead the evolution of our CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. By championing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible), you'll turn manual tasks into streamlined, automated workflows. Master Orchestration: Manage and scale our containerized world using Kubernetes, ensuring our applications are agile, efficient, and cost-effective. Think Big on Security & Recovery: Guard our data with the highest standards of HIPAA compliance. You’ll architect disaster recovery strategies that provide peace of mind in an unpredictable world. Mentor and Lead: Share your wisdom. You’ll guide junior engineers, helping them grow their technical craft while building a collaborative, high-performing team. What You Bring to the Team Experience: 4-6 years in SRE or Cloud Engineering, specifically within the AWS ecosystem. Technical Artistry: You have deep expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and a passion for Kubernetes orchestration. The Automation Mindset: You are proficient in Python or Bash and believe that if a task has to be done twice, it should be automated with Terraform or Ansible. Analytical Detective Skills: You enjoy the "hunt" of complex troubleshooting and feel a sense of accomplishment when resolving critical incidents. Communication with Heart: You can explain complex cloud architecture to a stakeholder just as easily as you can conduct a deep-dive code review with a peer. Values Alignment: You are someone who wants to do good, work hard, and contribute to a culture of mutual respect and continuous learning. Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves): AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer). Experience with serverless architectures or data tools like Kafka and Redshift.
