Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a full-spectrum musculoskeletal platform — surgery, physical therapy, and everything in between — operating across 16 clinics throughout Chicago. We run clinical trials. We serve Medicaid patients at scale. We’ve built a model that delivers care the most underserved patients in Chicago can access, and that the most demanding patients still want. The Genesis Health Foundation extends that mission to patients who fall outside every coverage structure entirely.
We’re doing something real. We need someone — with the tools and the talent — to show people.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Sixteen clinics. Clinical trials. Surgeons who left traditional medicine because they wanted to actually fix something. Patients who came in unable to walk and left playing with their kids again. A healthcare model that the industry said couldn’t work — and that works.
This story is not being told. That’s where you come in.
Genesis is looking for a remote-based Social Media Manager who’s native to the platforms and AI-native in their creative process. You’ll be the engine behind our presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and beyond — using every AI-powered production and design tool available to make it travel further and hit harder than a traditional one-person content team ever could.
What You'd Do:
Design at Scale With AI
Canva AI — Magic Design, Magic Write, text-to-image, and Brand Kit — to produce on-brand graphics, carousels, educational posts, and campaign assets faster than any traditional design workflow
Build and maintain a Canva Brand Kit for Genesis so every visual asset — from Instagram Stories to LinkedIn headers — is consistent, professional, and instantly reproducible
Adobe Firefly and Adobe Express for AI-generated imagery, text effects, and rapid asset creation that doesn’t require a full Creative Cloud subscription or a dedicated designer
Figma AI for content templates, visual systems, and design specs that keep the brand tight across every platform and format
Build and Design With AI
Replit AI to design and prototype lightweight web-based content assets — custom landing pages for campaigns, interactive patient education tools, shareable microsites, and branded digital experiences — without needing a dedicated developer or agency
Build simple branded web assets that live beyond the feed: a “meet the surgeons” page, a campaign hub, a patient story gallery — things that extend the Genesis content universe past what Instagram and TikTok can hold
Produce and Edit Video With AI
CapCut AI for rapid short-form video editing, auto-captions, and trend-native formats built for TikTok and Reels
Runway for AI video generation, background removal, and visual effects that elevate raw clinical footage
HeyGen or Descript for AI voiceover, talking-head video creation, and transcript-based editing that makes long surgeon interviews instantly clippable
Opus Clip or similar tools to automatically identify the best moments from long-form content and turn them into short-form clips
Own the Channel Strategy
Run Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn with a clear, platform-native growth strategy for each
Use AI scheduling and analytics tools — Buffer AI, Later, or Metricool — to post smarter, not just more
Know why something works on TikTok versus Reels versus Shorts — and engineer content accordingly
Build Repeatable Systems
Develop AI-assisted production workflows so the content operation scales as the practice does
Build template libraries, prompt libraries, and editorial calendars that make great content reproducible — not just occasional
Track what’s working with analytics and refine your approach continuously
Engage the Community
Respond to comments, build a following, and make Genesis a brand people in Chicago actually want to follow
Experiment constantly — new tools, new formats, new trends; if you have a pitch, we want to hear it
Education:
High School graduate or GED required.
College or vocational training a plus.
You’re early in your career but ahead of most people in two ways simultaneously: you understand how content travels on the internet, and you’ve already built AI tools into how you make it. You’ve made videos people watched. You’ve designed graphics people shared. You have a point of view. And you know how to use AI to make that point of view go further.
You’re fluent in the AI creative stack. Canva AI, Replit, Runway, CapCut AI, Descript, Adobe Firefly — these aren’t tools you’ve heard of. They’re tools you use. You know what each one is good for, where the limits are, and what’s worth trying next.
You can build lightweight web assets. With Replit AI, you can spin up a simple campaign page, a branded microsite, or a patient story hub — and you’ve done something like it before.
You have platform fluency, not just platform familiarity. Hooks, retention curves, algorithmic triggers, optimal timing — this is how you think, not just terminology you know.
You’re a systems builder. You don’t just make great content once. You build the workflow that makes it reproducible. AI tools are infrastructure, not novelty.
You’re hungry. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a real audience for a brand that genuinely deserves one — using a creative toolkit that most healthcare brands haven’t even started to figure out. We want someone who sees that and wants to own it.
