Job Title: WordPress Developer Intern Location: Remote Employment Type: Internship (Full-time) Duration: 3 Months Stipend: ₹ 6,000/- + Performance-Based Bonuses Key Responsibilities 1. Website Maintenance & Performance Routine Updates: Perform regular, safe updates to WordPress core, themes, and plugins via a staging environment. Site Speed: Monitor and optimize Core Web Vitals and loading speeds for mobile and desktop users. Security: Implement proactive security measures, malware scans, and automated backup protocols. 2. New Feature Implementation Page Building: Create and launch new landing pages for webinars, blogs, and wellness sessions. Custom Development: Modify themes and plugins using PHP, CSS, and JavaScript to meet specific design or functional needs. Interactive Tools: Build and maintain custom forms, event calendars, and scheduling integrations. 3. Third-Party Integrations E-commerce/Payments: Maintain and troubleshoot payment gateway integrations for bookings. Marketing Tech: Sync the website with CRM and newsletter tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) to automate community engagement. 4. Technical Troubleshooting Identify and resolve bugs, broken links, or layout inconsistencies reported by users. Ensure full mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility for all new content. 5. Collaborative Projects Collaborate with the marketing and care team to integrate wellness blogs, resources, and video content. Assist in developing an online learning hub or resource center for parents. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills: Strong understanding of WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin creation. Strong experience with Elementor page builder. Handling of Elementor responsiveness/layout fixes across mobile and desktop devices. Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with integrating tools like booking plugins, such as Amelia, payment integrations like Razorpay, and hosting platforms like Bluehost. Knowledge of WordPress REST API and database management (MySQL). Plugin conflict resolution, staging-to-live deployment workflow, and website maintenance. Tools and Frameworks: Familiarity with debugging tools like Chrome DevTools. Experience with version control systems like Git. Knowledge of popular WordPress plugins like Elementor, WPML, and Rank Math SEO Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console for traffic monitoring and SEO performance tracking. Experience/familiarity with LMS plugins such as Tutor LMS, LearnDash, or similar LMS platforms. Soft Skills: Passion for creating meaningful, wellness-focused digital solutions. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Education and Experience: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. 6 Months + prior experience with WordPress development is preferred.
