How the ApplyTop extension works and what it accesses

What happens when you click the extension

1. 1You open a job application on a supported site and click the ApplyTop extension.
2. 2The extension reads the form’s fields and sends them, with the page address, to your ApplyTop account.
3. 3ApplyTop works out each answer from your CV, profile and saved answers, and writes answers to open questions.
4. 4If a required question isn’t covered by your data, the extension asks you. It never guesses, and your answer is saved for next time.
5. 5The extension fills the form and attaches your CV where the form allows it.
6. 6You review every field and press Submit yourself. The application then appears in your Applied list.

What we access, and why

• Application pages on supported job-application (ATS) sites: to read the form fields and fill them. The extension runs only on the ATS domains listed in its permissions and only when you click it.
• Your CV, profile, and saved answers: the only sources of every value we fill.
• When a site requires an account before you can apply, an email address on our domain for that account, so its confirmation reaches your ApplyTop dashboard.

What we never do

• ✓We never invent answers. A question we cannot answer from your data is left for you to answer.
• ✓We never track your browsing. The extension is inactive outside supported application pages.
• ✓We never sell your data or share your CV with anyone except the employer you are applying to.
• ✓We never submit an application for you. You always press Submit yourself.
