How Auto Apply works and what we access
ApplyTOP can apply to jobs for you. This page explains in plain language what happens when it does, which data is used and why, and what we never do.
Two ways to apply
Auto Apply
Our server opens the job’s real application page, fills it from your CV, profile, and saved answers, uploads your CV, and submits the application. You get a full timeline with screenshots of every step, and the employer’s confirmation email lands in your ApplyTOP inbox.
Assisted Apply (Chrome extension)
On a supported application page, one click fills the form with your data. Nothing is sent for you: you review every field and press the submit button yourself. That also makes it work on sites where automated submission is blocked.
What happens during an Auto Apply run
- 1You pick a matched job and click Auto Apply.
- 2Our agent opens the employer’s application form, the same page you would use yourself.
- 3It fills the form from your CV, profile, and saved screening answers, and uploads your CV.
- 4If a required question is not covered by your data, the run pauses and asks you. It never guesses.
- 5It submits the application and records a timeline with screenshots of every step.
- 6Confirmation and verification emails arrive in your dashboard inbox, linked to that application.
What we access, and why
- Application pages on supported job-application (ATS) sites: to read the form fields and fill them. The extension runs only on the ATS domains listed in its permissions and only when you click Fill.
- Your CV, profile, and saved answers: the only sources of every value we fill.
- A per-application email address on our domain: so confirmation and verification emails can be processed automatically and shown to you.
- Screenshots of the application pages during a run: your audit trail of what was submitted.
What we never do
- ✓We never invent answers. A question we cannot answer from your data pauses the run and waits for you.
- ✓We never track your browsing. The extension is inactive outside supported application pages.
- ✓We never sell your data or share your CV with anyone except the employer you are applying to.
- ✓We never apply without your action. Every application starts with your click.
Supported platforms
Auto Apply completes applications end to end on a set of supported platforms, and the Chrome extension fills forms on additional ones, where you review and submit yourself. Coverage changes over time; the product always shows exactly what is available for a specific job.
Credits and refunds
An Auto Apply run costs 5 AI credits and an Assisted Apply fill costs 3. If a run fails or pauses for your input before submission, the credits are refunded automatically.
