A/C Technician

Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems. Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on HVAC equipment and control systems. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize system performance and reliability. Inspect equipment and identify worn or defective components for replacement. Test system performance, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant components. Recharge refrigerant systems in accordance with environmental and safety regulations. Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during all work activities. Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and equipment documentation. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and equipment breakdowns. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other maintenance personnel to complete work efficiently. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in HVAC/R is preferred. Valid HVAC/A/C Technician certification or license (where required). Proven experience in installing and maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, refrigeration cycles, and mechanical components. Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals. Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and hand tools.
