MECCA’s Finance team plays a central role in supporting our continued growth, and we’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our accounts payable function and team. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on operational leadership with people development, stakeholder partnership and continuous improvement, ensuring our suppliers are paid accurately and on time while strengthening the processes and controls that support MECCA as we scale. The Role You Could Play: Leading a team of three Accounts Payable Officers, you will oversee MECCA’s end-to-end accounts payable operations and play a key role in delivering an efficient, accurate and customer-focused service. You will: Lead, coach and develop the Accounts Payable team, managing workloads and building a collaborative, accountable and high-performing environment Oversee end-to-end invoice and payment processing, including supplier records, payment cycles, exceptions and vendor queries Manage AP cash forecasting and payment requirements, partnering with Finance and business teams to identify risks and timing changes Own AP month-end and year-end close activities, reconciliations and audit requirements, ensuring accuracy and balance sheet integrity Drive continuous improvement across AP processes, systems and controls while building trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors Support the AP component of the ERP transformation process including data cleansing, migration and change management. What You Will Bring: You are an experienced transactional finance leader who combines strong attention to detail with a practical, solutions-focused approach. You enjoy developing people, improving processes and building trusted relationships in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will bring: Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating an accounts payable or transactional finance team in a high-volume environment, with retail and inventory experience highly regarded Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounts payable, payment controls, reconciliations and month-end close Proven people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, develop and support a high-performing team A process-driven mindset with strong judgement, organisation and the confidence to identify and implement practical improvements Strong Excel skills and confidence working with ERP and accounts payable systems, supported by a business, accounting or finance qualification or equivalent relevant experience Your Life At MECCA Whilst we are focused on our #CustomerFirst mantra, we know that wouldn’t be possible without an incredible team that is guided by our MECCA values and motivated each and every day to be solutions focused, innovative, collaborative and adaptable, and have a bit of fun along the way!
