Accounts Payable Supervisor

Stolt-Nielsen plays an essential part in the global supply chain and every one of our people contributes to our success What you will be doing The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the team/s under his/ her supervision, ensuring the delivery of services in accordance with the GSSC’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) and/ or KPIs with the Business. Key Responsibilities Ensure that the team under his/ her supervision and its staff are meeting their KPIs/ SLAs. Prepare timely and accurate monthly management and reports related to the performance of the team under supervision. Prepare, review, and discuss business reports for the divisions/ offices supported in accordance with the team’s Service Level Agreements. Manage, motivate, and develop the team, which includes regular coaching, performance appraisals, and discussion of staff’s individual development plan. Ensure that the team has a sound resiliency plan, including a working back-up system and complete and updated process documentation. Develop and roll out continuous improvement projects within the processes. Build and sustain good relationships with the customers and counterparts. Ensure that the internal controls under his/ her supervision are in compliance with IFRS, Stolt-Nielsen’s policies and procedures, and/or with the applicable GAAP, and statutory requirements. Handle other tasks assigned from time to time. This may include projects related to migrations, improvement, or other business initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any business-related courses. At least 6 years combined working experience; 4 years in a particular process area, 2 years in an SSC setting. Experience in process migration, a plus. Experience in process improvement, PMP/Prince/Six Sigma an advantage.
