As a Cabin Maintenance Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, comfortable, and reliable travel experiences for millions of customers. How you'll make an impact Carry out cabin maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to ensure aircraft are safe, compliant, and ready for service Diagnose and resolve cabin defects efficiently, helping minimise aircraft downtime and maximise fleet availability Complete maintenance activities in line with Civil Aviation Authority requirements and Air New Zealand engineering standards Work closely with engineering and operational teams to deliver aircraft safely and on schedule Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, and the customer experience Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and support a strong safety-first culture. What we're looking for • A mechanical related NZ Trade Certificate or a recognised Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification • Previous experience in an aviation maintenance environment is highly regarded • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills, with excellent attention to detail • A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality work in a regulated environment • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced operational setting • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving If you bring most of this experience, along with transferable skills and the drive to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
