About the Role We are looking for a strong Kotlin Android Developer to join us and help build the next generation of smart commerce infrastructure. Responsibilities Build advanced Android applications in Kotlin for smart POS and payment devices Develop next-generation AI-powered retail and checkout experiences Work with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture Integrate with payment terminals, printers, scanners, vending machines, and external hardware Build real-time experiences connected to cloud services and event-driven backend systems Improve performance, stability, offline capabilities, and UX at scale Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, QA, DevOps, and Hardware teams Ship production-grade software used daily by thousands of merchants Qualifications 3+ years of Android development experience Strong Kotlin experience Experience with Jetpack Compose Deep understanding of Android lifecycle, threading, and performance optimization Experience working with REST APIs Experience with SQLite / Room / local persistence Understanding of clean architecture and scalable mobile app structure Ability to debug complex production issues Passion for building products, not just writing code Required Skills Big Advantages Experience with POS systems or payment applications Experience integrating with hardware devices Experience with Bluetooth / USB / Serial communication Experience with offline-first applications Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow Experience with CI/CD and production deployments Pay range and compensation package Why Join PayPlus?
