Android Engineer

Intercity covers intercity rides and parcel delivery in 35+ countries across LATAM, MENA, Central and South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Key Responsibilities Develop features for passenger and driver client apps. Work with geolocation, maps, and real-time order statuses. Run A/B experiments, manage feature flags, and implement analytics events. Do code reviews, write tests, and co-design solutions with backend and iOS engineers. Build with AI tools (Claude Code, Copilot) as part of an AI-First approach. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 3+ years of commercial Android development with Kotlin. Good knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, MVVM/MVI and DI (Dagger/Hilt). Experience with Jetpack Compose. Experience working with multi-module projects and Gradle. Understanding of networking, caching and working with unstable connections. Experience with unit testing. English level: B1+. Nice to have: Experience with maps and geo services, such as Google Maps or 2GIS. Experience with Play Integrity, fake GPS protection or other anti-fraud solutions.
