Position Summary Assistant People & Culture Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation of the hotel's people strategy by assisting in talent development, employee engagement, learning & development, recruitment, performance management, and daily Human Resources operations. This role works closely with department leaders to foster a positive workplace culture, enhance employee performance, ensure compliance with labor regulations, and support initiatives that contribute to employee growth and organizational success. Learning & Development Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning and development initiatives aligned with the hotel's objectives and culture. Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with department heads to identify development opportunities and address performance gaps. Coordinate, facilitate, and monitor internal and external training programs. Maintain and update the annual training calendar and training records. Track, analyze, and report training effectiveness and participation. Develop and maintain learning resources, training materials, and internal knowledge libraries. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development throughout the hotel. Build and maintain partnerships with educational institutions, industry associations, and external training providers. People & Culture Operations Assist the Director of People & Culture in implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs. Support recruitment activities including candidate sourcing, interviewing coordination, onboarding, and orientation. Assist in employee relations matters and help maintain a positive workplace environment. Support performance management, talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives. Ensure consistent application of People & Culture policies and procedures across all departments. Act as a point of contact for employees and assist in resolving workplace concerns professionally and confidentially. Support initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, recognition, and well-being. Assist in organizing employee activities, engagement programs, and internal communication events. Foster a culture of teamwork, inclusion, fairness, and service excellence. Encourage employee participation in learning, development, and organizational programs. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management / Hotel Management. Minimum 3 years of training/facilitation and HR experience. Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint. Strong leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and customer contact skills. Results and service oriented with an eye for details. Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations. A team player & builder. A motivator & self-starter.
