Assistant Plant Controller

ABOUT THE ROLE Assistant Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing general accounting functions, managing accounts payable processes, and ensuring effective financial controls. The role requires strong expertise in auditing, financial compliance, and cost control to support the organization’s financial health. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Manage and supervise General Accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and month-end/year-end closing.  Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) operations, ensuring timely processing of invoices and vendor payments.  Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.  Handle audits (internal & external), including preparation of schedules and coordination with auditors  Monitor and implement financial controls and cost-controlling measures.  Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.  Prepare and review financial reports, MIS, and variance analysis.  Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and financial objectives. He will also be responsible for costing & Budgeting JOB REQUIREMENTS Candidate should have 3 to 5 yrs experience in manufacturing industryQualification required CA /CWA
