About the Role As an Associate Director - Business Execution , you will support the development and execution of the Transaction Banking (TB) strategy, driving both strategic initiatives and tactical business objectives focusing on our international network businesses across Asia, US and UK/Europe. You will work closely with the Head of Business Execution and Regional Transaction Banking Heads to enhance business performance, profitability, operational efficiency, and execution excellence across the franchise. You will play a key role in business planning, performance management, governance, and strategic execution, ensuring the successful delivery of regional priorities and business outcomes. In addition, you will partner with Coverage, Product, Finance and Business Execution teams across the Institutional business to drive alignment of business objectives, product strategies, and client coverage priorities. Through effective stakeholder management, analytical insights, and execution support, you will help ensure the Transaction Banking business achieves its strategic growth, financial, and operational goals. As an Associate Director - Business Execution , you will; Drive the execution of Transaction Banking's strategic priorities, business initiatives, and transformation programs. Partner with TB leadership, Finance, Product, Coverage, Risk, Compliance, and Institutional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of business objectives. Monitor business performance through financial reviews, pipeline management, sales metrics, cost analytics, business line KRAs, and country performance assessments. Prepare board papers, management reports, leadership updates, and governance materials to support effective decision-making. Coordinate leadership forums and strategic meetings, including the Transaction Banking International Leadership Team, ensuring clear actions and timely follow-up. Deliver data-driven insights using financial, customer, employee, market, and competitor information to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement actions. Support customer initiatives, balance sheet forecasting, ALCO activities, data governance, and data quality compliance requirements. Strengthen the control environment by supporting audit remediation, risk governance forums, operational risk events, regulatory obligations, and compliance with Singapore's Individual Accountability and Conduct (IAC) requirements. What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Strong strategic thinking and business execution capabilities, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. Sound understanding of business planning, financial management, budgeting, performance reporting, and commercial decision-making. Proven experience within banking and financial services, preferably within Transaction Banking, Corporate Banking, or Institutional Banking. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, with the ability to derive insights from financial, customer, operational, and market data. Knowledge of financial and operational management practices, including process optimisation and business performance management. Experience preparing executive-level presentations, board papers, management reports, and governance materials for senior stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and collaborate effectively across senior stakeholders, functions, and geographies. Strong project management, organisational, and change management skills, with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously. Understanding of Transaction Banking products, clients, business drivers, and market dynamics. Knowledge of banking risk, compliance, audit, governance, and regulatory requirements, including data governance and control frameworks. Experience working in cross-functional, cross-market, and cross-border environments, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Degree qualification in Finance, Economics, Business, Banking, Accounting, or a related discipline; professional qualifications in finance, strategy, or project management would be advantageous.
