How You will Make An Impact: Coordinate with government agencies, developers, consultants, contractors, utility owners and internal stakeholders on underground telecommunications infrastructure planning and project activities. Review development proposals, engineering drawings, utility layouts and construction plans to identify infrastructure conflicts and recommend practical engineering solutions. Monitor project schedules, construction progress, quality and safety requirements, and support the resolution of site and technical issues. Review excavation and construction proposals to assess potential impact on existing underground telecommunications infrastructure and recommend appropriate protection measures. Conduct site inspections, meetings and acceptance checks, and verify completed works against approved designs. Review and validate as-built drawings, construction records and GIS data to maintain accurate infrastructure records. Prepare technical reports, project updates, engineering assessments and management presentations. Coordinate contractor claims, variation requests and technical documentation where required. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for GIS and other engineering systems. Perform other reasonable duties related to the role. Skills for Success: Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Ability to read and review engineering drawings and technical documentation. Strong coordination, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to work effectively with government agencies, contractors, consultants and internal teams.
