Our company’s Business Service Center (BSC), located across three regions (Americas, Europe, and Asia), are responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of standardized, global financial processes. The BSC – Americas in Costa Rica provides timely execution of a broad range of financial services and processes across our company’s business divisions and markets for the AMERICAS region. The Account to Report (AtR) Cash & Investment Sr. Specialist will be responsible for providing cash operational services and related accounting and reporting activities for US Cash and Investment market mainly, ensuring the successful execution of operations, achievement of KPIs, and compliance with SOX controls. The ideal candidate is a people-oriented professional with strong problem-solving capabilities and excellent stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and functions. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise US cash operations and analysis, including period‑end financial close activities, such IC loans, investments, capitalizations, LEI entries, commercial papers, VA pooling, debts, etc). Drive month‑end close activities to meet strict reporting deadlines. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders such as US local team, European Treasury Center (ETC) etc. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (STS, OTC, EMM etc) to resolve issues, improve processes, and support business needs. Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion internal control review. Support the team by providing hands-on operational assistance and ensuring the smooth execution of daily activities. Approve, and monitor accuracy into BL reconciliation. Monitor workload distribution, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure timely completion of the cash activities. Verify the integrity of journal entries and maintain accountability for the accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation for all manual journal entries, ensuring compliance with established KPIs and SLAs. Ensure activities comply with internal controls, SOX, and corporate policies and procedures. Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and support standardization and automation efforts. Support and participate in global projects as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, or field related. Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a shared service environment within a multinational organization, including exposure to ex‑US accounting. Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS. Proficient English language skills (written and spoken) Experience with treasury accounting and interfacing systems preferred. Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and drive effective resolutions. Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while focusing on achieving objectives. Able to work with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timelines. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to interact with different levels of the organization. Supervisory experience (desirable).
