Business Analyst

You’ll care about the details of your craft while keeping sight of the bigger picture: better experiences for our customers, better outcomes for our people and a stronger airline. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity where you may be required to work across our Auckland offices, including our City office and Airport campus. You’ll work across strategy, business change and technology, partnering with people from across the airline. Our priorities evolve, so you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a range of initiatives as business needs change. What you’ll be doing Get to the heart of business challenges and help frame the opportunity clearly Look beyond the obvious to find smarter ways to create customer and business value Contribute to discovery and analysis across customer, commercial, business and technology domains Explore options, test assumptions and help develop evidence-based recommendations Build shared understanding with stakeholders and help move decisions forward Help shape future capabilities, processes and ways of working Support teams to focus on what matters through thoughtful prioritisation and value-led delivery Connect objectives to outcomes and practical action Bring care and quality to your analysis, communication and follow-through What you’ll bring Experience as a Business Analyst in a business change, project or transformation environment A curious, clear-thinking approach to solving problems Initiative to spot what needs doing and good judgement about where to focus Pride in the craft of business analysis, from understanding the problem through to supporting decisions and delivery The ability to make complex ideas clear and useful for different audiences Confidence to ask good questions, challenge assumptions constructively and bring people along Strong relationship-building and collaborative skills A focus on outcomes, value and making change real Experience working with both business and technology teams Experience in digital transformation, customer or commercial initiatives, data, integration, cyber, platform modernisation, aviation, travel or transport would be an advantage.
