Closing date: 15/10/2026 Number of positions: 1 Recruiter name: Larla Anne Brazil Landicho Reference number: 74451 Workplace Type: Mediclinic City Hospital | Dubai | United Arab Emirates MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB The Care Coordinator plays a key role in supporting patients throughout their care journey within the assigned unit or program by coordinating appointments and services, ensuring timely follow-up, facilitating communication between patients and multidisciplinary teams, and supporting continuity of care. The role provides patients with appropriate information, guidance and non-clinical support across relevant touchpoints while ensuring a culturally sensitive, confidential and patient-centred experience. The Care Coordinator works closely with clinical and administrative teams to facilitate an organised patient pathway, maintain accurate documentation and proactively address coordination requirements that may affect the patient's experience or progression of care within the assigned unit or program. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS 1 Patient Navigation and Appointment Coordination 2 Patient Communication and Response Management 3 Patient Education, Guidance and Support 4 Patient Experience and Care Coordination 5 Documentation and Information Management REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Nursing REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 2–3 years of experience in healthcare or patient-facing administrative roles. • Experience in appointment coordination, patient interaction or front-line clinical/healthcare operations. • Experience supporting patients through appointments, investigations, procedures, follow-ups or other stages of a care pathway. • Experience coordinating with clinical and administrative stakeholders to facilitate patient services. DESIRED EXPERIENCE • Previous experience in a care coordination, patient navigation or patient services role. • Experience relevant to the assigned unit or program is highly desirable. • Experience handling multi-channel patient communications. • Experience working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. • Experience supporting patients through multi stage or complex care pathways. REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Basic Arabic language skills Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards Demonstrate sound proficiency in the English language (written and verbal) Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients / patients and colleagues Client service and related management principles Client Service Orientation Medical terminology and procedures Key understanding of the key requirements and demands for the Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR), Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Active listening and learning Emotional Intelligence and Empathy Collaboration within a multidisciplinary environment Cultural sensitivity All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
