Casual Health Care Aide

Position SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Aide (HCA) to join our team on a casual basis. The HCA will work under the direction of nursing staff to provide personal care and assist residents with daily living activities.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)Support mobility, transfers, and positioningObserve and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staffAssist with serving mealsMaintain a clean, safe, and respectful environmentBuild positive relationships with residents, families, and team membersQualificationsHealth Care Aide Certificate (recognized program)Current CPR/First Aid certificationExperience in Supportive Living SettingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamClear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screeningSkills & AttributesCompassionate and patient-focusedReliable and flexible (must be available for various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends)Strong observational skillsPhysical ability to perform job duties (lifting, transferring, etc.)What We OfferFlexible schedulingSupportive team environmentOpportunity to gain experience and grow within the organization
