Chadwell Animal Hospital is seeking a passionate, motivated Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) to help us grow and strengthen our clinical team. We are a busy, multi-doctor practice caring for dogs, cats, small mammals, avians, and reptiles. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the role of credentialed technicians within our hospital while working alongside a collaborative medical team that values your skills, knowledge, and input. Why This Opportunity Is Different Opportunity to help establish and grow credentialed technician utilization within the hospital Diverse caseload Supportive doctors who value collaboration and teaching Ability to practice your licensed skills Opportunities for growth in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and inpatient care Positive, team-focused culture A hospital committed to continuous improvement and high-quality medicine What You’ll Be Doing : Clinical & Patient Care Anesthesia induction and monitoring Surgical assistance and patient recovery Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs IV catheter placement and fluid therapy Diagnostic sample collection and laboratory testing Radiology and imaging Hospitalized patient treatments and nursing care Safe, low-stress handling for dogs, cats, and exotic animals Client Communication Educating clients on preventive care, medications, treatments, husbandry, nutrition, and Providing discharge instructions and follow-up care recommendations Building strong relationships with clients through compassionate communication Team Support & Leadership Helping support and mentor assistants and support staff Assisting with workflow improvements and patient care initiatives Contributing to a collaborative and positive team environment Compensation & Benefits Pay : $25–$32/hour Based on experience, credentials, and skillset Full-Time Benefits Include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer contributions Paid time off Paid holidays Scrub allowance Continuing education opportunities RVT/LVT/CVT tuition reimbursement Employee pet discounts Supplemental insurance options Employee referral bonus program Wellness resources What We’re Looking For Current RVT/LVT/CVT license (or ability to obtain Maryland licensure within 6 months) Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience Strong interest in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and patient care Interest or experience with exotic and small mammal medicine is a plus Positive attitude and strong communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Passion for patient care and continued professional growth If you’re looking for an opportunity to grow, make an impact, and help shape the future of technician utilization within a hospital — we’d love to meet you.
