This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Child Welfare Specialist V - H23EAnnual Salary: $58,847.88 + Full State Employee BenefitsApplicants who possess a Master's Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%.Travel is extensive. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.Days worked will be Sunday, Monday, Friday and Saturday, 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM.Hours worked may be on-call, extended and/or weekends.Minimum Qualifications:Masters Degree plus two years of experience as a Child Welfare SpecialistOR a Bachelors Degree plus three years of experience as a Child Welfare SpecialistOR Four years of experience as a Child Welfare SpecialistJob ResponsibilitiesLeadership level that provides direct supervision to a unit of lower level Child Welfare Specialists within the Triage Response Unit (TRU), which completes the initial investigations and assessments before case assignment to Child Protective Services for completion.As a direct supervisor, interviews and selects team applicants; maintains personnel records and completes performance evaluations; trains new staff, performs case reviews; and develops and administers in-services training programs.Position includes close coordination and consultation with other Child Welfare Supervisors and District Directors regarding appropriate case actions and referrals, auditing and tracking of referrals with providers to ensure and verify the delivery of contractual services.__________________________________________________________________If you have questions, please contact [email protected]OKDHS is a Fair Chance Employer.This is a position in the Oklahoma Civil Service.Announcement Number: 26-JD13183008519/JR61300
