China – Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician (T)

As Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining specific tools on a tape head manufacturing production line. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform routine preventive maintenance per PM schedule. Conduct routine maintenance checks and services on all production equipment. Document routine preventive maintenance on PM checklists, record data if applicable and maintain completed checklist/history in tool maintenance system. Perform regular inspections and maintenance on production machine to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues. Document routine preventive maintenance and unscheduled failures details on system database Provide inputs to Shift Coordinator or Equipment Engineer to improve PM cycle-time, tool availability, quality/workmanship, reduce media scrap and cost of ownership. Provide Technical training and certification for junior technician. Support Tool Owner and Equipment Engineer for machine conversion/upgrade and improvement projects. Collect process data and follow up experiments REQUIRED: · Certificate / Diploma in Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronic or Equivalent. · Must be able to three-shift rotating work ·1 year or above working experience in manufacturing plant PREFERRED: ·Able to read, write in English · Familiarity in MS Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook ·Hold an electrician's license SKILLS: · Knowledge in Basic Troubleshooting Flow (Electrical & Mechanical) · Knowledge in Electric / Electronic Component · WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
