Job description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner/Porter for evening shifts in Saskatoon, Canada. Join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff, with a focus on detailed cleaning operations in administrative and passenger areas. Perform thorough and detailed cleaning of the admin office area, including all surfaces, fixtures, and equipment Clean and maintain the hold room area, ensuring it meets high standards of cleanliness and organization Wipe down tables and chairs throughout assigned areas after each flight departure Sweep carpets comprehensively following each flight departure to remove debris and maintain appearance Dust window ledges end to end in all assigned areas Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in common spaces and office areas Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly Dust and wipe surfaces, including desks, equipment, and other fixtures Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or reporting repair needs Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment Assist with setup and breakdown of meeting rooms or event spaces as needed Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently Excellent time management skills Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout a shift Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation to and from work for evening shifts High school diploma or equivalent preferred WHMIS certification preferred Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
