Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Level Clinical Design Lead to join our healthcare architecture design practice. The Clinical Design Lead will be responsible for leading and coordinating the clinical planning and design of complex healthcare projects, as well as serving as a mentor to junior staff members.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare design, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate the clinical planning and design of complex healthcare projectsServe as a mentor to junior staff membersParticipate in the development of project goals, objectives, and design conceptsConduct research on healthcare trends and best practicesLead and participate in user group meetings and workshopsCollaborate with architects and engineers to develop functional and spatial requirementsDevelop space programs and equipment listsDevelop clinical design solutions, including functional diagrams and flow diagramsDevelop medical equipment and furniture specificationsReview and approve design documents for clinical functionalityProvide guidance and feedback on the work of junior staff membersEnsure compliance with healthcare design standards, regulations, and best practicesDevelop and maintain relationships with healthcare clients and clinical staffOther duties as assigned by senior managementQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field10+ years of experience in healthcare design, including experience in clinical planning and designExperience leading and mentoring a team of designersExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong knowledge of healthcare design standards, regulations, and best practicesWorking knowledge of planning capabilities of AutoCAD and RevitAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsUnderstanding of sustainability and energy-efficient design principlesExperience with LEED certification a plusInternal Job Code: DL-CD-04Salary Range: $130,000 - $156,000 / Annually
