Full Consideration Date: 10/22/2026 Job Description: Summary: Coordinates and provides cognitive screening, mental health counseling, caregiver support, referral, education, and follow-up services through the Dementia Outreach and Education Program; administers and evaluates cognitive screening assessments, identifying participant needs, providing guidance and referrals, and developing and modifying screening protocols and procedures; facilitates dementia caregiver support groups and trains and oversees undergraduate and graduate students participating in screening and related program activities; evaluates program data and service trends; develops community partnerships; identifies opportunities for expansion, and recommends improvements to screening practices, staffing, resources, and service delivery; investigates and resolves quality concerns; and contributes professional expertise to the continued development of trauma-informed, dementia-friendly services and environments. Required Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling; provisional or independently licensed in TLMHC; at least two years of experience working with dementia caregivers; experience with support group facilitation; experience working one on one with older adult populations; and experience with assessment of cognition. Student experience will be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Completion of Dementia Friends and Dementia Friends Champion training and experience with event coordination and communication.
