FNB Short Term Insurance is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Recoveries Analyst to manage a portfolio of recovery accounts, engage with key stakeholders, monitor legal costs, and drive successful recovery outcomes in line with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practice. Are you someone who can: Maximise recoveries through effective analysis, negotiation, and account management. Manage and monitor legal costs and recoverable expenses to achieve cost efficiencies. Liaise professionally with attorneys, liquidators, debtors, and other stakeholders to optimise recovery outcomes. Monitor and report on recovery portfolios, ensuring timely resolution of matters. Maintain expert knowledge of relevant legislation, industry trends, and best practices. Assess and mitigate risks through effective portfolio management and analysis. Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory, legal, and audit requirements. You will be an ideal candidate if you: Have a Minimum Qualification of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, Law, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certification in Credit Management, Collections, Recoveries, Insurance, or Finance will be advantageous. Have 1-3 years' experience in recoveries, collections, credit management, insurance recoveries, legal recoveries, or a similar financial services environment. Demonstrate the ability to manage a portfolio of accounts, engage with attorneys and liquidators, monitor legal costs, and optimise recovery outcomes. Possess strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and reporting skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
