Job description
Key Responsibilities Responsible for supervising and overseeing on-site electrical installation and ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards. Perform commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and final acceptance of RTG and ASC cranes at crane erection sites. Configure, test, and verify electrical, control, and automation systems during crane commissioning. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Diagnose and resolve electrical, PLC, communication, and control system issues. Record commissioning activities, test results, parameter changes, and technical issues in the company's documentation system. Prepare commissioning reports and maintain accurate technical records. Communicate effectively with customers regarding commissioning progress, technical issues, and corrective actions. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, software, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Conduct Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and endurance tests as required. Ensure all commissioning activities comply with safety regulations and company procedures, project specifications. Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards
Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of commissioning experience in port cranes, industrial automation, or heavy equipment. Experience with RTG, ASC, RMG, STS, or similar container handling cranes is preferred. Strong ability to read and understand electrical drawings and control schematics. Good knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Beckhoff, Schneider, ABB, or similar), including troubleshooting and basic program diagnosis. Familiar with industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, or CAN Bus. Knowledge of AC drives, motors, encoders, sensors, and electrical protection systems. Able to analyze electrical faults and solve commissioning problems independently. Good English communication skills for customer meetings, technical discussions, and report writing. Available for domestic and international business travel as required.
